What We Collect

When you run a scan, Pulse processes the website URL you submit so it can generate the requested report. If you ask to receive the report by email, we collect your name, email address, optional business name and the website that was scanned.

We also use basic privacy-conscious analytics to understand whether people visit the site, start scans and submit the report form. These MVP events do not intentionally store IP addresses, user agents or scanned website URLs.

How We Use It

Submitted URLs are used to perform the requested automated website assessment. Email details are stored only so Pulse can send and follow up about the report you requested.

Pulse does not create user accounts in the MVP and does not sell email details.

Automated Reports

Pulse reports are automated assessments based on publicly observable information. They are intended to help small-business owners understand likely issues, not to provide a complete audit or professional advice.

Security Checks

Pulse security checks are non-invasive. The MVP checks publicly visible configuration such as HTTPS, certificates, redirects, headers, mixed content and cookie settings where practical.

Data Storage

The MVP stores the minimum lead information needed for the stated purpose. Local development stores lead captures and email previews in git-ignored data files.

Your Choices

You can choose not to submit the email form. If you want your email details removed, contact Pulse at pulse@nextfoundry.co.uk.
